Ellisburg, NJ – Y.A.L.E. School, a private school serving students with disabilities in New Jersey for more than 35 years, is proud to announce Mr. Stephen Neff, M.Div., MSN, APRN-BC, NP, has joined the staff of their Ellisburg Campus. A Board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, Neff will provide school-based psychiatric services and supports to students ages 5 to 21 enrolled at the campus.
“Stephen Neff brings years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with developmental, behavioral and psychiatric disabilities,” said G.W. Krauss, clinical coordinator for the Ellisburg Campus.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Princeton Theological Seminary, Neff has worked extensively with children and adolescents in the mental health field in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He is a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania and the Rutgers College of Nursing in Newark.
In his position at Y.A.L.E.’s Ellisburg campus, Neff provides psychiatric evaluations and consultations for students, classroom observation, prescriptions, and serves as a liaison with a student’s community mental health providers. The services are provided at no cost to families or the districts that place students at Y.A.L.E.
“Our students have complex needs. This is just one of many support services we offer to parents and guardians of the students we serve,” concluded Krauss.
ABOUT: Y.A.L.E. School Ellisburg Campus located in the Ellisburg section of Cherry Hill, serves students ages 5 to 21 with disabilities including: anxiety disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, mood, personality, obsessive-compulsive or oppositional-defiant disorders, and learning disabilities. The program also offers a self-contained program for students with autism ages 18-21.
