Students harvest the delicious results of community gardening project

Y.A.L.E. School Cherry Hill students are taking learning outside the classroom and gaining new skills through gardening. Mobility matters at Y.A.L.E. School

In fall of 2015, expanded mobility training will begin for all students at the Cherry Hill campus. The new developmental mobility skills training and preparation initiatives will promote personal independence, increase community participation and expand employment possibilities for students as they progress towards college and careers. Rutgers Autism paratransit study looking for adult participants

The Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) at Rutgers University is looking for adults 18 years and older to participate in a research study on paratransit skills for people on the autism spectrum. Overnight Experiences Teach Independence

This year, teens at the Y.A.L.E. School’s Cherry Hill campus are “headed for the hills” to build transition skills. The “hills” are the hills of Manayunk, a vibrant residential section of Philadelphia, and home to Y.A.L.E. School’s newest transition service. Y.A.L.E.’s Manayunk Overnight Experience gives students a chance to practice IEP transition skills in a home and community setting.
