For close to 40 years, Y.A.L.E. School has been proudly serving students with disabilities. Now with eleven campus locations throughout southern New Jersey, our Williamstown campus will be re-locating to the Cherry Hill area. The new Y.A.L.E. School Ellisburg campus, located on Connecticut Avenue in the Ellisburg section of Cherry Hill, is a two story brick school building that will give our students a more traditional school environment, with larger classrooms, more space for group learning, a science lab, a larger and more comfortable nurse’s office, access to community-based instruction, an indoor fitness area, an auditorium and more.
While we are well known in this area for our work with students on the autism spectrum, this campus, along with our campus in Northfield (Atlantic County), serves students ages 5-21 who experience emotional and behavioral difficulties and specific learning and/or multiple disabilities. Some students may have a clinical diagnosis of anxiety disorder, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (A.D.H.D.), mood, personality, obsessive-compulsive, or oppositional-defiant disorders, and/or specific learning disability.
The program is expected to open its doors on January 5th, 2015. We will retain the same experienced staff and leadership, and will preserve all of the academic, social, emotional, and family support services we now offer.
