What happens when young adults with autism “age out” of the educational system in NJ? Many rely on the Division Of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to help provide services and supports. It’s a topic that young adults on the autism spectrum and their parents NEED to know about and understand, and accessing services can be confusing. Soon, DDD will be implementing a new “fee-for-service” model and that will bring some big changes to the way people access and pay for services and support.
To address this topic, the Y.A.L.E. School autism programs are hosting an evening workshop with guest speaker Jonathan Sabin, Director of DDD’s Office on Autism on December 4th. This event is free and open to the public.
