Parent Training Workshop: Gastrointestinal Problems in Autistic Children With Dr. Ritu Verma MD

The Y.A.L.E. School Voorhees campus presents a special parent training workshop for parents and guardians of children with autism and autism spectrum disorders entitled “Gastrointestinal Problems in Children” with Dr. Ritu Verma, MD of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Event Registration and Details

Dr. Ritu Verma will be presenting an overview of bowel problems frequently present in children with special needs. Among topics being presented will be constipation, stool withholding and persistent diarrhea.

Dr. Verma is Associate of Clinical Pediatrics, Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been in practice for 33 years, specializing in Pediatric Gastroenterology and has published numerous journal articles on this topic.

UPDATE: This event is now open to members of the public who wish to join us for Dr. Ritu’s workshop and panel discussion. The workshop is free, but guests must RSVP to attend. See instructions below.

This parent training workshop is for parents and guardians of Y.A.L.E. School students and is not open to the public.
