Your Old Computer or Broken Printer has ONE MORE JOB To Do…

GreenVision donations

Did you know that your home, school and business electronic trash – things like computers, scanners, copiers, ink cartridges, printers and cell phones – still “works” when you donate it?

The Y.A.L.E. School Northfield campus, in cooperation with GreenVision Inc., offers adolescents and teens an educational “hands-on” electronics recycling opportunity. In addition to keeping outdated and broken items out of local landfills (our program is 99.7% landfill free!) the GreenVision program provides our students with essential job skills for the future while fostering personal and environmental responsibility.

To work in the GreenVision program, students must complete a training course and master the skills necessary to disassemble household electronics and office equipment. The students, whom have learning and emotional disabilities, must also maintain their academic and behavior goals.

Since the program began at our school in March 2013, the Y.A.L.E. students have learned how to recycle just about anything with a plug!

Please donate your old electronics to the Y.A.L.E. School; arrangements for larger items can be made by contacting Noah McKay at nmckay@yaleschool.com or by calling the school at (609) 677-9960.

The first fifty donations in February will receive a Y.A.L.E. School GreenVision tee shirt!
