Y.A.L.E. School Transition Night 2013

Hosted by the Y.A.L.E. School Transition Team at the Y.A.L.E. School Cherry Hill campus

All parents & guardians of current Y.A.L.E. School students are invited to attend.

Valuable program information about transition resources and strategies for parents of middle and high school students:

  • Transition planning for disability accommodations in college
  • Weekly transition classes
  • School-to-work opportunities
  • Agency planning, referrals and coordination
  • High School Scholars option with Camden County College
  • Specialized 18-21 transition concentration
    • Standard 9 Scholars program for college-bound students
    • Standard 9 Campus Experience program for college and career exploration
    • Standard 9 Cherry Hill for transition to employment and adult agency programs

State Agency updates for accessing DDD and other services for parents of students in Standard 9 and younger:

  • DDD
  • DCF/Children’s System of Care DVRS
  • SSA/SSI

Suggested for parents of students planning to attend college as their post-secondary goal.
