Approaching Intimacy: The Developmental Challenges of Sexuality and Asperger’s.
A two-part series for parents of teens and young adults with ASD.
The Y.A.L.E. School Presents: Dr. Isabelle Hénault, author of Asperger’s Syndrome and Sexuality: From Adolescence through Adulthood on November 8th and 9th, 2012 at the Y.A.L.E. School Cherry Hill campus in Cherry Hill NJ (Google Maps).
This free two-part lecture for educators, health professionals, and parents of teens and young adults with Asperger’s will focus on managing emotions, developmental stages, friendship, dating and intimacy, and problem behavior strategies. The lecture is open to the public. Educators who register as professionals may receive 4 CEU credits.
Dr. Hénault worked for over two years at Dr. Tony Attwood’s clinic in Australia. She lectures internationally and is both a researcher and clinician in the field. Dr. Hénault will also give a daytime presentation at the Cherry Hill campus tailored for teen/young-adult Y.A.L.E. School students only which is not open to the public.
PART ONE: Thursday, November 8th from 7:00 PM until 9:00 pm
PART TWO: Friday, November 9th from 7:00 PM until 9:00 pm
Doors open at 6:30 pm on both nights, with the lecture presentation beginning promptly at 7:00 pm.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please print the registration ticket attached to your confirmation email and bring it with you so that we can check you in at the door quickly on both nights of the event.
Is there an age requirement to enter the event?
Due to the personal nature of the topic and limited seating capacity we ask that only adults register for and attend this event. Childcare will not be provided at the event. *Parents/guardians of Y.A.L.E. School students please note that Dr. Hénault will give a daytime presentation at the school tailored for teen/young-adult Y.A.L.E. School students only which is not open to the public.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We anticipate ample parking for attendees onsite at the school. If necessary we may arrange for additional offsite parking depending on registration numbers. We will contact registrants via email in the event that parking is an issue. NJ Transit bus stops are located nearby on Church Road and at the Cherry Hill Mall.
