Ms. Carr was often the initial point of contact for parents and students coming to The Y.A.L.E. School, and her warm and inviting personality helped to make them feel comfortable as they toured the campus for the first time. She worked tirelessly with families, school districts, and Y.A.L.E. school staff to ensure that each new student would grow and succeed in his or her new classroom.
Over her long tenure as admissions coordinator she became a well-known and respected member of the special education community in New Jersey. “She has a wealth of experience and knowledge that was uniquely valuable to our school, and she will be greatly missed,” said Karen Huber, who replaces Ms. Carr in the position at the Cherry Hill campus. Ms. Carr was honored with a commemorative plaque upon her retirement and will remain a part of The Y.A.L.E. School family as we give her our gratitude and best wishes for the future.
